Rideable Art.

Through growing up in a family business that manufactures carbon fiber bicycle wheels, Hed has always been interested in finding new ways to incorporate her family’s love of cycling into her art. After her father’s death in 2014, Hed started turning her father’s signature 3-spoked bicycle wheel design into a work of art. Each wheel is layered with hand-cut pieces of duct tape and spins on the wall. In memorial of her father, Hed had worked with multiple non-profit organizations and commissions where a portion of the proceeds are donated to local charities.
